Disappointed, the belly straps are very short. I have a warmblood, so not sure what it would be like on a cob 😂 normally love PE rugs 🙁

Nice fit and keeps bugs at bay.

The rug is beautifully made but because PE rugs come up big I had to go down a size. Unfortunately this meant that the rug was tight on my mates shoulders and the belly flap wasn’t big enough. She’s a young warmblood mare so not particularly wide. If I went with her usually size of 6’3” the rug would be massively hanging off her bum. Very disappointed as I love all of her other PE rugs.

Unfortunately I can only give this rug one star as it did not fit my horse. I read and dismissed the reviews as all previous PE fly rugs with belly flaps have fitted my horse perfectly. Very disappointed. Think it’s time Premier Equine review the design of this rug. Belly flap not big enough and surcingles did not do up.

Lovely rug and good quality. Two of the belly straps are too short and I would have had to send the rug back, but PE customer service has been faultless and they sent out surcingle extenders which enable the rug to be fastened securely. It does mean that the belly flap does not give as much coverage as it should, but the quality of the rug makes up for it.

Lovely rug and much better quality than any other brand I’ve had before, unfortunately the belly straps only just fit around my youngster (tb x so not a fatty!), so I’ll have to spend more money ordering the extenders.

Excellent quality - do come up quite large hence the 4 not 5.

Please see above for review of the rug- \I think this is a design fault which needs rectifying as it's a really nice rug apart from this. I've had to buy the super-lite version which, although a lovely rug also, does not have a belly flap. Please can you either add a belly flap to the super-lite or make the flap on the bug buster longer! Thanks very much!

Nice quality as usual, but middle and last surcingles are too short. Considering the general sizing for PE rugs is pretty generous it seems at odds that these aren’t long enough. My horse is not slim, but at the same time he’s not overweight and I can’t do the last strap up!

Super fit, excellent quality.

Good quality material and needed the belly flap as my poor horse Was being bitten to death. He can now enjoy the rest of his summer in peace and quiet.

After reading other reviews I decided to get a size up, lovely rug however the belly flap is so short. Rug also slides back and gets very tight around the shoulders. Could have done with leg straps as it blew over his head in the wind. Not sure I’d be in a rush to buy again.
