The role
You will be the first point of contact for our retail and wholesale customers, guiding orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, while keeping the office running smoothly.
Your day-to-day
Customer care
- Answer telephone and email enquiries with confidence and warmth
- Provide expert product advice and after-sales support
Order processing
- Enter and track UK and international orders
- Liaise with the warehouse and couriers to ensure timely dispatch
Sales administration
- Maintain accurate records using Outlook, Excel and Sage 200
- Prepare invoices, credit notes, and concise internal reports
Team collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams on product launches, stock availability and promotions
About you
- Equestrian knowledge is essential – you must have a strong understanding of equestrian products, terminology, and the lifestyle
- Customer-focused – with at least two years of experience in customer service or sales administration (including phone and email communication)
- Tech-confident – you’re proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage 200 (or similar systems such as Xero) is a strong advantage
- Positive and proactive – you identify and resolve issues early, show initiative, and enjoy working collaboratively n a fast-paced environment

Key details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (no remote option)
- Working time: 37.5 hours per week (excluding a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute short break, both unpaid)

Your Role:
As a Warehouse Operative / Picker & Packer, you’ll be a key part of our fulfilment team ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and with care. You’ll work in a structured and positive warehouse environment where quality and teamwork are always top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer and trade orders to a high standard
- Labelling and preparing outbound orders accurately
- Processing returns in line with company procedures
- Replenishing and rotating stock
- Assisting with unloading deliveries and other logistics
- Following all company SOPs and health & safety guidelines
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your work area
What We’re Looking For:
- A good knowledge of equestrian products (preferred but not essential)
- 2+ years of warehouse experience (preferred)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to daily challenges
- Please note: A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be performed as part of the recruitment process
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks)
