How it works
Mouthpiece. 14mm, double jointed, with curved cannons angled forward to follow the shape of the tongue. The lozenge lies flat on the tongue rather than standing upright between tongue and palate, so tongue pressure is spread across the width of the tongue. There is no nutcracker action and nothing reaches the palate.
Cheek piece. The arms lie along the face and guide the head in the same way as a full cheek, but the bit ring hangs on its own eye and rotates, so the release of a loose ring is retained. The eye also holds the ring away from the corners of the mouth, which brings the line of pull down and inward and encourages the horse to lift in front and come back to the hand. The upper arm is bent away from the face so it cannot pinch.
